Masses of the supermassive black holes can be dynamically measured in the local volume, however, extremely challenging beyond it. In this talk, I shall describe the method of measuring supermassive black holes, current limitations, and the present understanding of how the black hole masses are distributed across redshift. I shall also highlight the supermassive black holes accreting close to the Eddington limit. |
