Mkrtichian Abstract Type : Poster Abstract Category : Stars, ISM and Galaxy Abstract : In this project we performed TESS Full Frame Image photometry of variable stars in the field of intermediate age open star cluster NGC 2126. Light curves were obtained for eleven targets, their power spectrum was constructed. There were three eclipsing binaries. Their binary trend was subtracted to look for pulsations in the members. V551 Aur had a pulsating member. The orbital periods were calculated for the three binaries. There were two γ Doradus variables, five δ Scuti variables and one hybrid variable. The pulsational frequencies for these targets were also calculated. The cluster membership for these stars where checked using gaia data. The light curve of V551 Aur was modeled to derive basic parameters for the binary. |
