The majority of baryonic matter in galaxies is not in their stars, but in this difficult-to-observe CGM. Multiple observational probes of the CGM have revealed a complex multi-component CGM consisting of gas in distinct temperature phases. I will present a brief overview of this fascinating area and highlight some of our contributions. |
