Abstract: We present results of searches for neutrino emission from the Cygnus region using ten years of IceCube public data. The analyses model the source as extended & point-like emitters, employing the unbinned maximum likelihood ratio test to look for directional excesses in neutrinos. The results yield local significances never exceeding 2.9σ. We also employ templates based on gamma-ray observations by HAWC to look for correlated neutrino emission. We comment on recent claims in literature on the topic.
