IIST is organising its 14th IIST Astronomy & Astrophysics School (IAAS) from 13 July 2026 – 22 July 2026. The school is meant to acquaint students with the basics of astrophysics. The lectures will be at a fundamental level with introductions to more advanced topics.
Students from any one of the following backgrounds are eligible to apply for the school
M Sc Physics - Completed First Year and Moving to Second Year
Integrated MS (Physics) - Completed Fourth Year and Moving to Final Year.
B.Tech (Engineering Physics) - Completed Third Year and Moving to Final Year.
