Registration is now open for the online symposium "Celebrating Milestones in Solar and Space Weather Research in India: Honoring Prof. Nandita Srivastava," to be held on 25 August 2026.
The symposium is being organized to celebrate the remarkable scientific contributions of Prof. Nandita Srivastava (Udaipur Solar Observatory, Physical Research Laboratory, India) on the occasion of her superannuation. The event will bring together researchers from across the solar and space weather community to recognize her enduring contributions while highlighting recent advances in the field.
The scientific program will focus on "From Sun to Earth: Understanding Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) and Interplanetary CMEs (ICMEs)" and will feature invited talks by leading researchers, with an emphasis on recent developments in solar observations, modeling, and space weather.
The symposium is intended for graduate students, early-career researchers, and scientists interested in solar physics, heliophysics, and space weather research.
