Second National Workshop on XSPECT (Online) from 8-9 Sept, 2026

Space Astronomy Group at U. R. Rao Satellite Centre is planning to organize the second National workshop on Data Analysis and Science from the XSPECT instrument on board XPoSat in online mode, tentatively on 8-9 September, 2026. The workshop will cover an overview of the instrument, demonstrate the end-to- end data analysis procedure, explain the proposal preparation and submission process, and present the scientific results from XSPECT observations. 

We are also planning to have a session where participants can present their work on XSPECT. All PhD students in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year as well as Master's students in their 2nd year, with a background in Astronomy, are eligible to apply.  Google form link for expression of interest in attending the workshop is: https://forms.gle/WpeK69a38f6P96B58.
