ASI is deeply saddened by the passing away of Prof. Jayant V. Narlikar today in Pune. He served as the ASI President during 1983-1985 and was the first recipient of the ASI Govind Swarup Lifetime Achievement Award during ASI2023. The obituary can be found from the link.
