Department of Physics, MNIT Jaipur is organizing an Online Training cum Summer Internship Program on "Space Radiation Shielding & Spacecraft Protection" from June 5 to July 4, 2025. This program is open to students (UG/PG), faculty members, and industry professionals from interdisciplinary areas of Science and Engineering who are interested in the emerging field of space science and technology.
This internship aims to provide participants with:
- Fundamental and advanced insights into space radiation and its impact on spacecraft systems.
- Hands-on experience in simulating radiation shielding models using Python.
- Real-time computational project work inspired by NASA’s HZETRN framework.
- Interaction with experienced mentors from academia and research.
