Dear Colleagues,

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the European Space Agency (ESA) are pleased to announce a joint workshop dedicated to heliophysics. This event will focus on scientific opportunities arising from the combined observations of Aditya-L1, Solar Orbiter, and Proba-3 missions.

The workshop will be organized as in-person during 19-23 January 2026, in Trivandrum, India.

By bringing together experts working with data from these missions, the workshop will explore how their complementary vantage points and unique orbits can provide a more complete picture of the Sun and its influence on the heliosphere.

Highlights of the workshop include

  • Invited talks from leading scientists in solar and heliophysics
  • Three half-day hands-on sessions on data processing and analysis led by instrument teams
  • Opportunities for collaborative problem-solving using combined data-sets
  • Contributed talks and poster presentations (limited slots available)
  • The final session will feature preliminary results and outline pathways for future collaborations.

We look forward to your participation in advancing our collective understanding of the Sun and its impact on space weather and heliophysics from the scientific data of Aditya-L1, Solar Orbiter and Proba-3.

Best regards,
ISRO-ESA Joint Scientific Organizing Committee (SOC)
