The Astronomy & Astrophysics group at Ahmedabad University is accepting applications for the position of a Project Associate to work on a project titled “Probing stellar populations in the Magellanic Bridge– using the UVIT/AstroSat and multi-wavelength data”. The Project Associate will work with the Astronomy & Astrophysics Group, led by Professor Samyaday Choudhury under Ahmedabad University's start-up research grant (Ref no. URBSASI24A4), and his collaborators. Strongly motivated candidates from all genders and diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply for this position.
The MCNS Astrophysics Group works on various research areas that include theoretical, multi-band observations, and simulations. Applications are now open for our PhD program funded under Dr. TMA Pai fellowship scheme.

Dr. Thirumittakode Marath Krishnankutty Marar (Dr. T. M. K. Marar or Krishnan Marar as many knew him), a reputed space scientist, passed away on April 25, 2024, aged 85.
