Hiring for outreach person at IIA
Indian Institute of Astrophysics is advertising for a post of Project Associate-1 to work in the IIA Science Communication, Public Outreach, and Education (SCOPE) Section. We invite applications from anyone below 35 years of age (with suitable relaxation) who has a Masters in physics/maths, or a BE/BTech. This position is for one year, extendable annually for four more years.

The 41st meeting of the Astronomical Society of India (ASI) is scheduled to be held between 01 and 05 March, 2023, and will be organised by IIT-Indore at their campus. We are planning for an in-person meeting this time.
NSM C-DAC OpenACC India yearly Hackathon
The NSM GPU Hackathon, a multi-day event designed to help teams of developers accelerate their own codes on GPUs using a programming model, or machine learning framework of their choice, will be held in September 2022. Astronomy & Astrophysics is one of the major themes of this year's event.
