JRF position available in the Galaxy Research and Radio Instrumentation Lab IIT Indore

There is  a JRF position available (http://people.iiti.ac.in/~naren/index.html). This position is primarily for two years and has a possibility to convert to a Ph.D. position. The candidate will work on radio astronomy with software development and science. I am attaching the poster of the position herewith. The deadline for application is 15th Feb, 2023. ASI Women in Astronomy Talk: Announcement

On the occasion of the United Nations International Day for Women and Girls in Science, the Public Outreach and Education Committee in association with the Working Group on Gender Equity of the Astronomical Society of India is pleased to present the first lecture in our new series focussing on Women in Astronomy. The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Seetha, a former Director of the Space Science Program Office at ISRO HQ, who will speak about her engagement with various ISRO space science missions and her journey as a scientist.

National Seminar @ CHRIST University, Bangalore

We are organizing a national seminar on "Advances in Astrophysics & Space Science Research" during 13-15 February 2023, extensively for PG and highly motivated UG students. This is a unique platform for students to present their research work and compete for the best presentation award with a cash prize. JRF Position for the ISRO Sponsored Project in the Department of Physics, NIT Calicut
