IIA is organising a three day workshop on Black holes: Theory and Observations to be held from 15-17 June at the Vainu Bappu Observatory in Kavalur, Tamil Nadu. The workshop aims to introduce the fundamentals of black hole physics and few hands-on sessions with data to M.Sc. students and early year Ph.D. students.
The registration for the workshop is now open with a deadline of 10th May, 2023 for applications.

Can other stars have Earth-like planets with atmospheres? What can we learn about Earth from studying other planets? Are we alone in the universe? Answering these age-old questions requires a monumental interdisciplinary effort that brings together astronomers, geoscientists, and planetary scientists, including observers, theorists, and experimentalists.
