Please remember the deadline is 1st May 2023. All proposals will be reviewed by international referees and successful proposals will be funded by OAE or its centers. In particular, OAE Center India is committed to fund at least a few proposals each year, if they clear the peer review.

ILMT data policy and data access

The 4m International Liquid Mirror Telescope (ILMT) project results from a collaboration between Aryabhatta Research Institute of observational sciencES (ARIES), India, the Institute of Astrophysics and Geophysics (University of Liège, Belgium), the Universities of British Columbia, Laval, Montreal, Toronto, Victoria and York University. It is a zenith sky survey telescope run and managed by ARIES, an autonomous Institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The telescope is designed to perform deep photometric and astrometric surveys.

Postdoctoral Positions in the Department of Physics, IIT Bombay

Department of Physics, IIT Bombay, intends to appoint one postdoctoral position in theoretical aspects of gravitational waves. The post is funded by the SERB-Core Research Grant. The researchers are expected to have experience with Modified gravity theory, Black hole physics, and other related areas. A Ph.D. degree and relevant research experience are required for this post. 

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on Gravity. Candidate should have shown high-quality research experience in the relevant research areas.
