We shall celebrate the birth centenaries of two Eminent Calcuttans this year as a part of the Silver Jubilee year program of ICSP. A tentative schedule is attached.

One Day conference on the 9th December, 2023 to celebrate the birth centenaries of Prof. M.K. Dasgupta (Jennison
Dasgupta, Nature 1953) and Prof. Amal K. Raychoudhuri (Raychoudhuri Eqn.). The Venue is the newly inaugurated J.N. Chakraborty Auditorium at the ICSP integrated campus. All are invited to participate.

Kodaikanal Winter School on Solar Astrophysics at the Kodaikanal Observatory of IIA from 3-10 Jan 2024

Dear Colleagues,

We are announcing the Kodaikanal Winter School on Solar Astrophysics to be held at the Kodaikanal Observatory of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics from 3-10 January 2024. The workshop is for Master's students (who either completed in 2023 or will complete in 2024) to introduce them to solar astrophysics, heliospheric physics, and capabilities of the Aditya-L1 mission. The workshop will have lectures from experts in the discipline and hands-on data analysis sessions for the participants.
